On 29 March 2026, a delegation from Jinan University, led by Prof. Hong An, Vice President of Jinan University, visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS). The delegation was warmly welcomed by SBS representatives, including Prof. Andrew M. Chan, Prof. Chan Wai Yee, Prof. Zhao Hui and Prof. Wan Chao.

The two institutions held a meeting to discuss further strengthening collaboration. They exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in research, education, and faculty/student exchange, building on the long-term and solid foundation they have already established on the platform of the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine, as well as their rich experience in scientific research collaboration and joint graduate student training.
