On 16 December 2025, a delegation from the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Zhejiang University, led by Mr. Lou Jianqing, Deputy Dean, visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS). The delegation was warmly welcomed by SBS representatives, including Prof. Andrew M. Chan, Prof. Stephen K.W. Tsui, Dr. Ann S.N. Lau, Prof. Zhao Hui, and Prof. Yao Xiaoqiang.

The visit began with a meeting aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and strengthening academic ties between the two institutions. Afterwards, the delegation toured the SBS Core Laboratories, where they were introduced to the School’s state-of-the-art research facilities. Prof. Yang Fan from Zhejiang University also delivered a seminar titled “Molecular Mechanisms in ThermoTRP Channels and Development of Targeted Modulators.”

The SBS looks forward to fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and exploring potential partnerships in research, education, and faculty/student exchange between the two institutions.
