Miss Leung Sum Yin Valerie, a graduate of the Class of 2024 from the BSc in Biomedical Sciences Programme) and now pursuing her MSc in Applied Cancer Science at the University of Oxford, has been awarded the prestigious Croucher Scholarships for Doctoral Study at the University of Oxford.
The University of Oxford Croucher Scholarships are offered to academically excellent students who are permanent residents of Hong Kong, supporting their pursuit of a DPhil course in subjects linked to the natural sciences, technology, or medicine at Oxford. The award covers 100% of course fees and provides a grant for living costs, along with additional benefits such as conference travel, medical support, family allowances, and a graduation fund.
Selection for the Croucher Scholarships is based on outstanding academic achievements and research potential. Valerie has confirmed her DPhil in Clinical Medicine offer from the University of Oxford as a Croucher Scholar for the coming academic year.
