Prof. Rocky S. Tuan, a member of the School of Biomedical Sciences, has been honoured with the Jensen Tissue Engineering Award—the highest award bestowed by TERMIS Global. This award recognizes his groundbreaking work in stem cells, biomaterials, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine, with a particular emphasis on musculoskeletal development and disorders, as well as his exemplary leadership in higher education.

Professor Tuan will receive a silver medallion and a monetary prize of $25,000 USD at the TERMIS-AM 2025 conference, which will take place in Detroit, Michigan, USA from 11 – 9 November 2025. As part of the awards ceremony, he will also deliver a presentation highlighting his outstanding research achievements on 10 November 2025.
