Project titled “Advanced sports care: first-gen ECM biotechnologies”, led by Prof. Michelle Wang Dan, Assistant Professor of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) was awarded a Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury at the5th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong. SBS members including Prof. Rocky Tuan Sung-chi, Dr. Rao Ying (Postdoctoral Fellow) and Mr Huang Ruijia (3rd Year PhD student) are also members of the project team.

The team is at the forefront of sports medicine, specialising in tendon repair and disease management. Their comprehensive suite of solutions encompasses advanced diagnostics, effective treatment options and state-of-the-art drug screening platforms, addressing a variety of orthopaedic conditions and advancing sports care for healthy ageing.
