The School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) hosted the Academic Exchange Meeting with the Greater Bay Area Institute of Precision Medicine (GBA-IPM) on 28 March 2024. The event took place in Room G02 of the Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building, following GBA-IPM’s visit to the School in February.

During the meeting, SBS members, including Prof. Sham Mai-har, Prof. Stephen K.W. Tsui, Prof. So Hon-cheong, and Prof. Gu Shen, presented their valuable scientific findings. The GBA-IPM delegation, comprising Prof. Gu Zhenglong, Dr. Shen Xia, Prof. Lin Xinhua, Dr. Chen Junfang and Dr. Jia Xiaoyan, also shared their cutting-edge research.

The Academic Exchange Meeting provided an excellent opportunity for the principal investigators from both institutions to gain a deeper understanding of their respective research endeavours and explore potential avenues for future collaboration and funding opportunities.
