The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) recently hosted the Counsellor Fly-In Programme in Hong Kong from 4 to 7 March 2025. Over 30 high school counsellors from 12 countries, including Bangladesh, Côte d’Ivoire, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, South Korea, the UAE, and Vietnam, visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) at CUHK on 6 March 2025.
Dr. Ann S.N. Lau, Admission Coordinator and Director of the BSc in Biomedical Sciences Programme cum Associate Director (Undergraduate Education) of SBS, gave an introductory talk on BSc in Biomedical Sciences programme. Dr. Kanchan Rao Singh, Lecturer (Part-time) and Dr. Julia Macedo Rosa, Assistant Lecturer, provided consultation at the Mini-Faculty-Fair. The counsellors were also given a guided tour of the Core Laboratories to see the school’s advanced research equipment and facilities, led by Dr. Zhou Yuhuan, Assistant Lecturer.
We hope that the counsellors will share their experiences from this programme with their students, inspiring more aspiring minds to join CUHK in the future.
