Organized by the 8th Executive Committee of School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) Postgraduate Student Association (PSA), the orientation session for the research postgraduate (RPg) students newly admitted to the Graduate Division of Biomedical Sciences in 2019-20 was successfully held on 6 August 2019.
Members of Executive Committee, SBS PSA first extended their warmest welcome to the freshmen and encouraged the new students to actively participate in the future activities organized by the SBS PSA. Ms. Hao Suyu and Ms. Cai Mengyun, representatives of SBS PSA gave a brief introduction of the research life in the SBS and shared their living experience and campus life with the freshmen. Afterwards, the freshmen and senior students took part in ice-breaking games and discussion to deepen the understanding with each others.
This annual orientation session is a good opportunity for our new RPg students to have a delightful mingling interaction with their fellow schoolmates, and also to learn to acclimatize to the new study environment in the School.
