The SBS Postgraduate Research Day 2024 was successfully held over two days, on 11 – 12 November 2024 at Hong Kong Science Park. The event was well-attended, with over 200 participants, A total of 84 abstracts and poster presentations were received, surpassing previous years' numbers.

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University in 2013, I entered the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) to pursue my Ph.D., under the supervision of Prof. Yao Xiaoqiang, conducting research on ion channels and cardiovascular diseases.
I was part of the second cohort of students admitted to the BSc in Biomedical Sciences, drawn to SBS for its flexibility in entering the business stream upon graduation.
