The School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) organized a “Career Information Day” for its postgraduate and undergraduate students at the Lo-Kwee Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building on 20 January 2018, as an extended celebration to its 8th Anniversary. Guest speakers in different capacities from companies in the field of biomedical sciences or the related fields were invited to share their valuable experiences and insights in the “Career Talks” session. Also, three exhibiting companies participated in the event by setting up booths with representatives to showcase their companies profiles, to introduce the industry’s trend and development, and to recruit interns or graduate students.
Through interacting with the guest speakers and company’s representatives, the postgraduate and undergraduate students can better understand how Biomedical Sciences graduates can contribute to the society in different capacities, and learn their career development and prospects in order to make wise and appropriate career choices.
