The Inauguration Ceremony of the 3rd Executive Committee of the Postgraduate Student Association of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBSPSA) was held on 5 March 2014 in Room G01, Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building, Area 39, CUHK.
The Ceremony was officiated by Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of School of Biomedical Sciences. In his opening remarks, Prof. Chan highly commended the contributions of the SBSPSA as a peer support group for our students and expressed his earnest expectation for the future development of the Association. Mr. Alfred C.S. Luk, President of the 2nd Executive Committee of the SBSPSA then gave a summary report on the activities organized in the past year, and extended his best wishes to the new Executive Committee.
In recognition for their outstanding contribution to the School, Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, Associate Director (Graduate Education) and Prof. Fung Kwok-pui, Associate Director (Administration) presented the certifications of appreciation to the President and members of the 2nd Executive Committee of the SBSPSA. To conclude the ceremony, Mr. Wang Yu-bing, the President of the 3rd SBSPSA Executive Committee briefly outlined the future activity plan for the SBSPSA.
