The orientation was successfully held by the Postgraduate Student Association (PSA) of the School of Biomedical Sciences on 4 August 2025. This welcoming event was designed to help new postgraduate students transition smoothly into their academic journey and life in Hong Kong. Led by President Chung Yik Lok (Davy) and Vice President Wang Liuyou (Yoyo), the orientation provided first-year students with a comprehensive overview of the MPhil-PhD program structure, academic expectations, and available resources at the campus. The session also introduced key facilities on campus, such as canteens, libraries, and transportation hubs, including bus stations and shuttle services. Beyond academics, the orientation offered valuable insights into daily life in Hong Kong, including cultural tips, local attractions, and practical advice for newcomers. The PSA team facilitated interactive activities to foster connections among students and build a supportive postgraduate community. This orientation marked the beginning of an exciting chapter for the new cohort, empowering them with knowledge, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
