On 29 May 2026, the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) celebrated a significant milestone with its 15th Anniversary Gala Dinner at ClubONE The Grand. The evening welcomed over 200 guests, including staff, students, alumni, collaborators and invited guests.
Assistant Professor Prof. Jacque P.K. Ip served as the emcee for the evening. Following welcoming remarks by SBS Director Prof. Andrew M. Chan, a celebratory toasting session was held. The toast was officiated by a distinguished group of leaders: Pro-Vice-Chancellors Prof. Anthony T.C. Chan, Prof. Irwin K.C. King, and Prof. Sham Mai-har; Dean of Medicine Prof. Philip W.Y. Chiu; Founding Director of SBS Prof. Chan Wai-yee; alongside Prof. Andrew M. Chan and SBS Associate Directors Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, Prof. Stephen K.W. Tsui, Prof. Zhao Hui, and Dr. Ann Lau. The night was further highlighted by outstanding performances Prof. Ko Wing Hung, students Mr. Andes Ng, Miss He Tao and alumnus Miss Phoebe Poon.
The gala dinner served as a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and honour this momentous occasion. We extend our deepest gratitude to all attendees and performers for their generous support and contributions, which made the 15th Anniversary Celebration a resounding success.
