Seminar on the Single-Cell RNA Sequencing Service
14 May 2021
Details:

The seminar on the Single-Cell RNA Sequencing Service organized by the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was successfully held on 14 May 2021. The event was conducted in an online format and attended by over 100 participants from the School and the University.

The Single Cell Omics Core (SCOC) is a newly established facility at SBS, CUHK aiming to provide single-cell omics solutions to researchers. Currently, the Core provides a streamlined, cell-to-sequencing library service package for Single-Cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to researchers. In the seminar, Dr. Joaquim S.L. Vong, Scientific Officer of SBS and the person-in-charge of SCOC introduced to the participants the service package, including service workflow, equipment, precautions, and charges. He also advised them on the outsourced sequencing recommendations. The SCOC welcomes Principal Investigators for experimental troubleshooting, project discussions and collaborations.

The launch of the Single-Cell RNA Sequencing Service has further expanded and enhanced our top-notched core services, and in turn helped strengthen our research capability and competitiveness. The details and an introduction video of the SCOC can be viewed HERE.
