The students of BSc in Biomedical Sciences Programme took part in the Summer Undergraduate Biomedical Research Attachment (SUBRA) 2025 organized by the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) between May to August 2025.
Running from May to August, the eight-week annual flagship program allowed students in their junior years to work to experience biomedical research in a practical, hands-on setting while being supervised by their research mentors, and enabled them to learn various laboratory techniques, maximise their potential, and think about prospective career paths.
With the support of 13 principal investigators of SBS who served as research mentors, a total of 12 Year 1 students, four Year 2 students and one year 3 student participated in the attachment. The program culminated in a poster presentation event on 22 August 2025, where prizes were awarded for the most impressive research presentations. Congratulations to all the prize winners for their outstanding work!
