Miss Shalina Alisha Telaga, a fourth-year student in the BSc in Biomedical Sciences program, formed a team called CUBETA with five other CUHK students from various departments. They participated in the APRU Global Health Virtual Case Competition 2024 and secured a position among the top ten teams.

Their video, titled “MoniCare: Your Partner in Combating Diabetes,” proposes leverating state-of-the-art AI technology to develop a personalized platform for diabetics. This platform allows users to store and gain insights about their condition while earning coupons and vouchers for their favorite stores, empowering patients to manage their diabetes effectively.
