Prof. Cho Chi-hin and Prof. Chan Hsiao-chang officially retired from the School of Biomedical Sciences on 31 July 2017. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Cho and Prof. Chan for their invaluable contributions and staunch support to their former Departments of Pharmacology and Physiology, respectively, the School of Biomedical Sciences as well as the Faculty of Medicine over the years. We earnestly wish them an enjoyable and healthy retirement.

In recognition of their outstanding contributions and lifelong service, the University has awarded both Prof. Cho and Prof. Chan the title of Emeritus Professor, with effect from 1 August 2016 and from 1 August 2017, respectively.
