Biography:
Prof. WANG Xinna (王昕娜) earned her B.Med. and M.Med.Sc. in Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine in China (2007, 2010). After completing her medical residency, she pursued full-time research at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) from 2012 to 2015. She received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2020, followed by postdoctoral training in the same institution. Prof. Wang served as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at HKU (2023-2025) before joining the School of Biomedical Sciences at CUHK in the same capacity in 2025. Her research focuses on (1) spatial micropatterning of soluble factor signaling; (2) ultrasound-based tissue engineering and regeneration; and (3) sonodynamic and photodynamic therapy..
