• Programme Taster Fair 2025: Coordinated by OAFA on 12 April 2025, a mini-lecture / taster class titled “Tissue Engineering and Regeneration – SciFi or Future” was delivered by Prof. Anna Blocki, Associate Professor at SBS and Institute for Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine (iTERM), CUHK. More than 110 senior secondary students attended the event. Prof. Michelle Wang Dan, Assistant Professor at SBS and Institute for Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine (iTERM), CUHK and Dr. Rao Ying, Postdoctoral Fellow also delivered a hands-on workshop titled “Tissue Engineering Workshop” to more than 70 prospective students.
• Capstone Research Project Presentation Day 2025: The Capstone Research Project is an Experiential Learning requirement of BSc in Biomedical Sciences Programme students who have opted to concentrate on Biomedical Research in their senior year of studies. Students are required to conduct a research project under the supervision of a Principal Investigator (PI) of the School for a year and present their research findings for the Capstone Research Project Seminar. This year the event was successfully completed on 16 April 2025.
