Prof. Christopher Cheng Hon-Ki, Chief of Reproduction, Development and Endocrinology Program, has recently been appointed as a member of the 23rd Comparative Physiology Committee of The Chinese Physiological Society. This appointment is a recognition of his continued commitment and contribution to the fields of molecular endocrinology and pharmaceutical research.
Prof. Cheng received the Second-class Award of the 2009 State Natural Science Award (SNSA) last year, and has been appointed as the Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology Ltd. effective from 1 January 2011.
