The SBS Postgraduate Research Day 2024 is a flagship event organised by the Postgraduate Student Association of the School of Biomedical Sciences, which aims to provide a platform for SBS postgraduate students to showcase their research in the past year. This year the event will be held on 10 – 11 November at Conference Halls 4-7, Phase 2, Hong Kong Science Park, Shatin, featuring poster sessions, oral presentations, and networking opportunities. This event is also designed to encourage exchanging of ideas within the academic community, promoting a rich environment of collaboration and innovation.

This year, we are excited to welcome back representatives from Peking University and the Kunming Institute of Zoology, who will be joining us to present their research and engage in idea exchanges. Additionally, we will be opening up our event by inviting postgraduate students from other departments in the Faculty of Medicine and School of Life Science to participate in this year’s Postgraduate Research Day. Their involvement will further enhance the interdisciplinary nature of the event, providing a broader platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. This cross-departmental interaction aims to stimulate innovative ideas and foster connections among students from various fields within the biomedical sciences.
