Following the establishment of the CUHK-SDU Joint Laboratory on Reproductive Genetics (the Joint Laboratory), Mr. Liu Yuan-Tao, Chief Financial Officer and Ms. Hu Quan, Finance Officer, Finance Department, Hospital for Reproductive Medicine, Shandong University visited the School of Biomedical Sciences on 13 August 2015.

In the welcome meeting, the two guests were briefed by Mr. Paul Ip, Executive Officer and Mr. Chan Chi-ho, School Manager on the latest financial status of the Joint Laboratory, and by Prof. Chan Wai-yee, School Director and Co-Director of the CUHK-SDU Joint Laboratory on Reproductive Genetics (Joint Laboratory) and Prof. Lu Gang, Assistant Professor of our School on the recent development of the Joint Laboratory. After the meeting, the visitors were guided to tour the Core Laboratories of our School and the Joint Laboratory.

Indeed, our School and Shandong University have been in a close partnership since signing a Memorandum of Understanding in June 2013. With this joint framework in place, it is our common objective that both parties will maintain a long term collaborative relationship.
