Prof. Sun De-jun, President and Party Secretary, Prof. Zhao Gui-jun, Deputy Chair, Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Mr. Gao Yi-bing, Director of Human Resources Management of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People’s Hospital, China visited the School of Biomedical Sciences on 14 October 2014.

Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of the School of Biomedical Sciences warmly received the guests and briefed them on the latest development of the School. The guests also met with Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee, Managing Director of Core Laboratories and Prof. Wan Chao, Deputy Managing Director of Core Laboratories of our School during their visit. Subsequent to the meeting, the guests were guided to tour our Core Laboratories and Animal Holding Core located at the Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building.

This visit not only laid down a good foundation for both parties to explore future research collaboration opportunities, but also helped widen our connections with clinical scientists from mainland hospitals.
