The students of BSc in Biomedical Sciences Programme took part in the Summer Undergraduate Biomedical Research Attachment (SUBRA) 2022 organized by the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) between May to August 2022. With this 8-week in-house program, students in their junior years were enabled to experience biomedical research in a practical and hands-on environment under the supervision of their research mentors to acquire various laboratory techniques, develop their potential and consider career choices.
With the support of 15 principal investigators of SBS who served as the research mentors, a total of fourteen Year 1 students, and six Year 2 students participated in the attachment. To conclude this year’s program, Poster Presentations on their selected research topics were held on 26 August 2022. Awards were presented to the students with the most outstanding performance.
