School members took part in the 7th Workshop of Academic Career Development Programme (ACDP) organised by Faculty of Medicine, CUHK at Choh-Ming Li Basic Medical Sciences Building on 26 August 2023. This programme aims to provide junior faculties some useful information for developing their academic careers, and also an exchange opportunity for building up relationship with other experienced and senior faculties for future collaboration.

Prof. Alfred S.L. Cheng, a member of the ACDP Taskforce and Professor of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) delivered the welcoming speech at the event. Dr. Ann S.N. Lau, Principle Lecturer of SBS and Dr. Isabel S.S. Hwang, Senior Lecturer of SBS, were invited as guest speakers to share their invaluable experiences in selecting the best recipes for the teaching portfolio with the participants. Eight members of the School, including Prof. Linda S. Gu, Prof. Hannah X. Hui, Dr. Francis Kee, Dr. Josephine W.S. Lau, Dr. Julia Macedo Rosa, Prof. Ellen N.Y. Poon, Dr. Shivani Salil Shinde, Prof. Michelle D. Wang and Prof. Zhou Jingying also attended the workshop.
