HK$49,500 per annum for 2027-2028 Local full-time RPg students should consult the Tuition Waiver Scheme for Local Research Postgraduate Students for detailed information. All fees, once paid, are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. |
Postgraduate Studentships (MPhil and PhD)
Postgraduate studentships (PGS) are available for full-time research postgraduate students. For the 2026-27 academic year, the annual studentship is HK$229,200 (approx. US$29,400), payable during the normative period of study. The studentship results are announced together with admission offers.
Scholarship Schemes and Financial Support
We offer a variety of scholarships and financial support to attract exceptional students to pursue their postgraduate studies at CUHK, including Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), CUHK Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Scholarship Scheme, etc.
