Master of Science (MSC) in Genomics and Bioinformatics has been migrated from the CUHK-BGI Innovation Institute of Trans-omics to the School of Biomedical Sciences since the academic year 2018-19 (starting from August 2018).
- Graduated from a recognized university and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Science, or Engineering; OR
- Completed a course of study in a tertiary education institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to an honor degree.
- All applicants must fulfill the general qualifications for admission and the English Language Proficiency Requirement prescribed by the Graduate School of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Because of limited admission quotas, early applications are strongly recommended. Application normally starts in mid-September. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis until all places are filled (approximately in Feburary or March). In general, there are around 20-30 newly-admitted students annually.
