As liaised by Dr. Daniel H.S. Lee, Associate Vice-President (Innovation and Enterprise), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a delegation from the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) on 21 August 2019.
Upon their arrival at Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building (LIBSB), Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee, Managing Director of Core Laboratories and Chief of Developmental and Regenerative Biology Program first gave the visitors a brief introduction on the latest development of SBS. Afterwards, they were guided to tour the Core Laboratories to learn our advanced research facilities and technology.
Through this visit, we hope that the sharing of our knowledge and experience in running core laboratory facilities could facilitate ITC and HKSTP in the planning and setting up of the research laboratories for the Centres under Health@InnoHK, one of the research clusters to be established by HKSAR for the purpose of developing Hong Kong as the hub for global research collaboration.
