The University Grants Committee (UGC) members visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 24 May 2018.
The visit started with a campus tour and the UGC members were then guided to tour the Bio-fabrication Core and the Aquatic Zone of the Animal Holding Core of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS), with the accompany of Prof. Fung Kwok-pui, Associate Director (Academic Administration) of SBS and Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee, Managing Director of Core Laboratories of SBS.
Afterwards, the UGC members, together with the UGC secretariat staff, met with the senior management of CUHK to learn the major developments of the University. They also had discussion sessions with the faculty staff and student representatives on the teaching and learning environment in CUHK.
