To welcome new and current postgraduate students, the Orientation Lunch cum the Staff-Student Consultative Meeting was hosted by the Master of Science Programme in Genomics and Bioinformatics on 6 September 2025 (Saturday) in Function Room 4 in the Chung Chi College Staff Club. It was well attended by around 90 students and lecturers.
During the orientation, we were honorable to have the presence of Professor Stephen K.W. Tsui, the Programme Director of the MSc programme and Acting Director of the School of Biomedical Sciences to deliver welcome speeches.
Professor Tsui welcomed students to join the family of the School of Biomedical Sciences and encouraged them to pursue their dream so to join with professors to develop the bioinformatics hub not even in Hong Kong but all over the world.
Besides, in the Staff-Student Consultative Meeting, students raised questions about the possibility of studying abroad after graduating from this MSc programme. The programme director shared the successful stories of our alumni and students were so excited and hope that they could have a bright future of their career!
